Car Website Design Tips

A car website is a great way to share interest and information about different types of vehicles. If you are an automobile enthusiast, coming up with your own site is relatively easy. Whether you are doing it for an established car club or just to showcase your favourite make and model, there are plenty of user-friendly building programs available. Once you already have all the data that you need, this project can be completed in one day.

Begin by sketching an outline of your automobile site's overall plan and structure on a piece of paper. Draw a box for the home page and then create the next layer of your car website by creating boxes for specific categories like car club history, featured cars, gallery, car club meeting location, and a blog page.

Do a rough draft of your navigation bar using the page information that you created on your website's rough draft. Decide between having a horizontal navigation bar or a vertical one. Next, make a sketch of the site's individual pages. Settle on the placement of titles, logos, images, and information from your car website homepage. Repeat the same process for all succeeding layers.

Proceed to digitising all the elements that need to be converted. This process usually includes scanning photographs or logos to the appropriate format for the website, typically in JPEG.

After completing the steps above, you are now ready to open up a website building program. Many Web hosting venues offer free software that will work for basic websites, including the ones you plan to build. If your homepage happens to have many elements that need to remain on the same page, save a copy of the former as a template.
